Spike Chunsoft has announced that the Implausible Industries developed turn-based action game, Research and Destroy, has received cosmetic DLC regarding the Danganronpa 2, Steins;Gate, AI: The Somnium Files, and the Zero Escape franchises. These costume packs are currently available for purchase for $2.99 each, with a bundle comprising all four costing $9.99. This game’s general points are listed below:
- Research: Gain fresh insight into the Supernatural threat via battlefield vivisections, then develop radical upgrades for each weird weapon and fascinating gadget.
- Destroy: Plan ahead, then run-and-gun in a combination of turn-based strategy and real-time shooting–every second counts.
- Co-Op: Tailor your scientists’ appearance, then drop in or out of online and local co-op with friends at any time.
- Campaign: Adapt your guerilla science tactics to manage the campaign map and seek the Supernatural source–no two playthroughs are the same.

Research and Duty is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, both Game Pass iterations, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
Chris Willacy, Daniel Markiewicz, Kees Gajentaan, members of the Japan-based indie development team at Implausible Industries provided the following statement regarding this title’s release:
“RESEARCH and DESTROY is finally out! We can scarcely believe it ourselves. We started this studio all those years ago with the goal of putting out games born from only our own ideas and effort, and after a lot of interesting detours it’s finally here, and on way more platforms than we could have imagined at the time. We hope you enjoy playing RESEARCH and DESTROY as much as we enjoyed making it.”
