Remothered: Tormented Fathers’ Switch Release Delayed to Deliver an “Immersive and Gripping Experience”

Darril Arts and Stormind Games announced their horror adventure, Remothered: Tormented Fathers, will be delayed from its July 26 release date on Nintendo Switch to a new August 30 release date.

The developer has stated that the delay is to further polish this version of the game, Stormind Games says that “they are committed to providing an immersive and gripping experience for the player. The extra time for the project will help us reach that goal. We want the Nintendo Switch version of Remothered: Tormented Fathers for North America, Europe, and Australia, to be a release that lives up to both the standards of our players and our studio.”

Remothered: Tormented Fathers has players assume the role of Rosemary Reed, a woman who is investigating the disappearance of a girl named Celeste. After being stonewalled by Celeste’s adopted father, Richard, from search through Celeste’s item, she convinces herself to sneak into the home at night. However, things don’t go as planned as she finds herself fighting for her life through a nightmare that she never expected.

Remothered: Tormented Fathers features multiple ways to survive, a psychological plot, and cinematic cutscenes. The game features environmental puzzles that have a realistic design to them.

Remothered: Tormented Fathers is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
