Action-Survival Shooter ‘Remnant II’ Introduces Handler Archtype Class & Dog Petting in New Gameplay Trailer
Publisher Gearbox Publishing and developer Gunfire Games have shared a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming action-survival shooter, Remnant II. The Handler Archetype class is introduced, specializing in canine teamwork and combat.
The dog companion can attack enemies up close and distract them in particularly troublesome scenarios where crowds become an issue. In addition, the class’ Prime Perk enables teammate revival, and their Archetype Trait reduces the damage caused by friendly fire.
Remnant II sends players back to the creature-infested world, where players will face off against powerful creatures and challenging boss battles. The game features single-player and co-op modes where players can explore a new world built from a wide pool of locations, enemies, NPCs, bosses, and weapons.
The newly updated Archetype system allows for greater player freedom and customization, with passive abilities in cooperative play. Further, several Archetypes will be unlockable and can be leveled up. Plus, multiple will be equippable simultaneously.

Remnant II will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in the Summer of 2023.
