Remnant: From the Ashes Free Next-Gen Upgrade Available Now

Perfect World Entertainment and Gunfire Games have launched the free next-gen upgrade for Remnant: From the Ashes on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Players can now upgrade their games to the next-gen version for free. The game is currently available on the Microsoft Store App and Xbox App for Windows 10 and is part of Xbox Game Pass for PC.

The next-gen versions feature improved visuals and performance. Players are about to play the shooter in 4K resolution at 30fps on PS5 and Xbox Series X, or 60fps at 1080p resolution on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Loading times have also been improved.

With the game’s launch on Windows 10, players can also cross-play between Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows 10 users.

Remnant: From the Ashes transports players to a post-apocalyptic Earth where they’ll need to fight if they hope to survive the approaching threat. The game offers four-player co-op gameplay modes where players will go up against hordes of extradimensional beings and attempt to stay alive throughout each wave.

We’re looking forward to what this team comes up with next as they’ve created a great foundation for a decent series in Remnant that may excel with the new console generation around the corner.
