Square Enix has announced that Reks from Final Fantasy XII has joined the Japanese version of Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia. For those unaware, he is the brother of Final Fantasy XII’s protagonist, Vaan, and is the playable character during the title’s tutorial.
As a Red Sword unit, Reks works well as both a defender and an attacker. No details on Rek’s eventual global arrival have been provided yet.

- Lunafreya joined the Japanese version of the game late last year.
