Hiroyuki Kobayashi from Binary Haze Interactive shared the following statements regarding this game:
“Redemption Reapers is a truly special title. The story immerses you in the complexities of war, and the gameplay makes you think outside the box to accomplish insurmountable odds. It is an honor to showcase the skills of such a talented development team and voice cast, and we are excited everyone to try their hand at outsmarting the enemy.”
The game’s development team includes Hiroyuki Kobayashi (Producer – Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights), in collaboration with Masayuki Horikawa (Series Director – Fire Emblem, Planning – Kingdom Hearts III), Tomokazu Fukushima (Scenario – Metal Gear Solid, Freedom Wars), and Rei Kondoh (Music – Bayonetta Series, Fire Emblem Series).
The tactical RPG is brought to life by a talented oice cast, including Alejandra Reynoso (Castlevania, DOTA 2), Jason Spisak (Arcane, Teen Titans Go!), Kyle McCarley (13 Sentinels: Aegis of Ruin, NieR: Automata), Allegra Clark (Apex Legends, Dragon Age: Inquisition), David Lodge (Persona 5, Final Fantasy XV), and Caleb Yen (Squid Game, Triangle Strategy, Attack on Titan).
Redemption Reapers tells the story of the Ashen Hawk Brigade. Formally known as that Faithless Reapers, this team launches surprise attacks. However, their past still haunts them as they do their best to escape the mistakes made during wartime against the Mort armies.
The gameplay features fantasy simulation, as players can position their party members during battle. Given that this is a small group facing off against a powerful army, there will definitely be some challenge that awaits players. Players will control five characters who have access to various abilities and skills to utilize during combat. The game always limits resources, including weapons and recovery items, with an eye on the demands of impending battles.
