Rockstar Games has announced its classic Western action-adventure game Red Dead Redemption and its zombie horror title companion Undead Nightmare will launch for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in a single package on August 17, 2023, for $49.99. Pre-orders are not yet available. Additionally, physical releases are planned for October 2023.

The port conversions are being handled by Double Eleven Studios, and PlayStation players can look forward to backward compatibility on PlayStation 5. Additionally, the following additional languages will be supported for the first time:

  • Simplified and Traditional Chinese
  • Korean
  • Polish
  • Brazilian Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Latin American Spanish

Red Dead Redemption has protagonist John Marston hunting down the Van der Linde Gang across the American West and Mexico to save his family. Undead Nightmare, on the other hand, is a reimagined story expansion that transforms the environment into a zombie horde that John seeks to find a cure for.
