Rockstar Games has confirmed that Red Dead Redemption and its expansion, Undead Nightmare, will be released on December 2, 2025, for Netflix, iOS and Android, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
On mobile, players can experience touch-optimized controls. Netflix subscribers can also access and download the game beginning December 2.
On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, players will experience smoother gameplay at 60 FPS, with HDR support and resolutions up to 4K. On the Nintendo Switch 2, Rockstar has implemented DLSS, HDR, and mouse input options, along with 60 FPS support.
Players who own the game on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, or the Xbox One digital version will be able to upgrade to these new editions for free. Save data transfers will allow users to pick up where they left off.
The new versions were developed with Double Eleven and Cast Iron Games. They will also be made available in the GTA+ Games Library and the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on launch day.
