Red Dead Redemption 2 Shows Characters and Detailed Environments in New Screenshots
Rockstar Games released new screenshots for their upcoming western adventure Red Dead Redemption 2, coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 26.
The screenshots give a better look at the game’s detailed environments and the citizens that populate the frontier. In addition to screenshots of the main protagonist Arthur Morgan, players get a closer look at the other members of the Vanderling gang. Additionally, it seems that a few of these characters aren’t friendlies.
During Red Dead Redemption 2, players will be able to explore the open-world as Arthur, with the company of the Vanderling gang. Players will make choices that will dictate the moral direction of the group which weighs an impact of the progression of the story. Recently, the developer released an extensive gameplay trailer showing a handful of activities that players can take part in when they aren’t completing story missions.
Additionally, just yesterday Rockstar Games revealed they plan to launch a beta for Red Dead Online after the game’s launch.
You can check out the new screenshots below:
Author’s take: Expect more and more news to come out Red Dead Redemption 2 as the launch date grow nearier. However, I often feel like hardcore fans should enter radio silince when anticipating a large budget game in order to preserive some of the gameplay features and not have the entire story spoiled for them.
