2D Action Game ‘Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth’ to be Released One Day Sooner
Playism announced that the Team Ladybug and Why so serious-developed 2D action game Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth will launch on PC-via Steam Early Access on March 12, one day earlier than its previously planned March 13 release.
Additionally, the developer plans to launch a fan art contest where the winner’s art will be displayed as the banner for the game.
Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is based on the Japanese novel that sold over 10 million copies, which has been regarded as the originator of the elf and magic-based fantasy genre. Players assume the role of Deedlit, who has woken up in a strange place. Through the game, players will need to explore their surroundings, which leads them to encounter some familiar faces, including a man named Ghim. She must learn more about this place and its mysteries as she accepts help from spirits, including Sylph and Salamander.
Players will need to face off against many foes during this quest. However, Deedlit does have several abilities and powers to help get through tough situations. After defeating enemies, players will earn Soul Stream that can be used to enhance the spirits and even does things like automatically regenerate HP and MP. Strengthening the spirits becomes the best offense against enemies.
As with Touhou Luna Nights, the developer wants to launch the game in Early Access to collect feedback from players. The full version will feature the return of beloved characters from the series with over six stages to explore when it launches later this year.
