Psychological Thriller ‘Recall: Empty Wishes’ Announced for PC Coming in 2023; Free Demo Available Now

Dangen Entertainment announced they will publish the Puff Hook Studio-developed adventure game, Recall: Empty Wishes, to release on PC via Steam in 2023.

The developer confirmed that a free demo is available now for those wanting an early look at gameplay. The demo is available on Steam during BitSummit X-Roads 2022. The demo features the first two chapters of the game, but more information on the full release will be provided at a later date.

Recall: Empty Wishes is a story-driven psychological thriller set in Taiwan following the story of a missing boy, Tommy, and his sister, Yonny, who has been trying to locate him. One day, Yonny picks up a toy phone receiver that she and Tommy played with as kids. The phone receiver connects Yonny and her friend, Phoebe, to the Gallery of Empty Wishes, where they find themselves able to enter the memory echoes of people connected to Tommy. Using the receiver, they delve into these people’s deepest desires and ultimately seek to uncover the truth behind Tommy’s disappearance.

Recall: Empty Wishes features 2D side-scrolling gameplay where each chapter focuses on a specific character’s past. Players take control of Yonny or Phoebe to enter memories and explore various locations to interact with characters and solve puzzles.
