Double Damage Games announced that their space shooter Rebel Galaxy Outlaw will launch on PC-exclusively on the Epic Game Store on August 13 for $29.99. The game will also release on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in the coming months.
Rebel Galaxy Outlaw is a prequel to 2015’s Rebel Galaxy, but this time around players can jump right into the cockpit. Players will assume the role of Juno Markev, a smuggler and known outlaw who is has decided to go straight and leave her bad life behind, that is until events conspired to drag her back into the life of crime. Following the events of a shady watering hole, Juno’s ship in trashed and she finds herself in debt to an old friend and casino owner who gives her a rustbucket and some words of advice. The game then opens up for the player to allow them to take part in space combat, purchase new ships, and listen to some “great” music.
Rebel Galaxy Outlaw has a full single-player campaign story with plenty of ways for the player to make money. An Autopursuit feature that adds a bit of accessibility to the game for newcomers.
Additionally, the developer released a new trailer that goes over all the side events and story details for fans looking forward to the game.
