Players can battle others worldwide via nine-player lobbies and explore various formats, including one-on-one bouts to tournaments with double elimination and league play.
A new Spectator Mode enables fans to view fights, while the updated Practice Mode features adjustable game speed and hitbox displays.
This version also features a Gallery Mode, which includes 59 pieces of artwork, ranging from character illustrations to promotional key art, as well as achievements that unlock avatars for online use.
