Razer Unveils Blade 15 and 17 as Newest Laptops for Creators and Gamers

Razer has set their sights on the Laptop market as more gamers seem to be gravitating towards the hardware for portability with their gaming and use in a desk environment. When it comes to the Razer Blade 15 and Razer Blade Pro 17, Razer focuses on delivering top of the line hardware to those wanting to push their laptop gaming experience to an entirely new level. What’s most important with this line up is the number of options available to those looking to pick one up.

The Razer Blade 15 features new display configurations that have been updated to 360Hz, 2MS; the base model features 144Hz, 8MS, which is better for gamers who want an entry-level gaming laptop. The advanced model will push 240Hz at 1440p resolution with G-Sync and Advanced Optimus for battery saving features. The Base Model will feature 165Hz, 3MS, and 100% DCI-P3, which is good for gaming and content creation.

There is a 4K OLED screen model that works for content creation and media streaming. Users will also find a Gorilla Glass touch screen. The Blade 15 features multiple display options to fit users’ playstyle, but G-Sync is only available for the Advanced Model. Razer has partnered with Nvidia with RTX graphics and up to 16GB GDDR6 VRAM. The Razer Blade 15 will be the smallest RTX gaming laptop available. Memory can now choose 32GB DDR4 memory options, which can be expandable to 64GB. The Razer Blade 15 features a Chroma Keyboard with a per-key option on the base model’s advanced model and zone options.

There are multiple options for this powerhouse gaming laptop, each with a GeForce RTX 30 series graphics card. A 2.3GHz 8-core Intel i7-10875H processor, Turbo Boost up to 5.1GHz, with 16MB of Cache, can be found in each of them, along with a 17.3-inch display. However, similar to the Razer Blade 15, there are multiple options when it comes to picking a version that works best for you. The highest model available features a 120Hz display with a native 3840×2160 resolution.

The new Razer Blade 15 starts at only $1699.99/1799.99€ MSRP and will be available for pre-order exclusively at Razer.com and Razer Store locations on January 12 and for purchase from select retailers starting January 26.

The new Razer Blade Pro 17 starts at $2299.99/2399.99€ MSRP and will be available for pre-order exclusively at Razer.com and Razer Store locations on January 12 and for purchase from select retailers in Q1 2021.
