Ubisoft has announced Rayman Legends Retold, a reimagining of the 2013 platformer that will launch on October 1, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam for $39.99.

Developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan, Rayman Legends Retold revisits the original game with updated visuals, a new storyline, and fully voiced cinematics. It follows Rayman, Globox, Barbara, Grand Minimus, and Murphy to save the Glade of Dreams.

Rayman Legends Retold introduces a new sixth realm. The game will be playable either solo or with up to four players via local co-op.

Stages from Rayman Legends return alongside new gameplay sequences, including dragon-riding sections, four newly created music levels, and challenges within the Cave of Trials. The Glade of Dreams itself has also been reworked, featuring new characters and events.

Competitive side mode Kung Foot is returning with updated controls, new power-ups, and customizable rule sets.

The soundtrack has likewise been expanded, combining music from the original release with new compositions from Christophe Héral and Grant Kirkhope.

Those who pre-order any edition will receive the Hoodlum Havoc Pack, which includes Rayman and Globox costumes inspired by Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc.

Loïc Gounon, Brand Producer, said the following:

Rayman Legends Retold is our way of revisiting what makes Rayman so special, and re‑telling that experience for a new generation of players. We wanted to preserve everything fans love, and Legends gave us the perfect foundation to expand Rayman’s lore, its world logic, and how everything connects together.
