Kagura Games and MangaGamer have announced that Alicesoft’s RPG Rance Quest Magnum will release for PC via Steam in Q2 2027 with English, Japanese, and Chinese language support.
The story picks up after Rance returns from his adventure unifying Nippon. Planning to take some time off, he instead finds himself afflicted with a debilitating curse. Rance sets out across the Continent in search of a cure and a way to get his life back in order in this eighth outing.
Rance Quest Magnum features hundreds of quests spanning different adventures, dungeons, and missions. Players can recruit dozens of characters and assemble parties from the available roster, with skills that can be customized for individual party members.
Dungeon exploration involves collecting rare items, fighting different enemies, and swapping party members depending on the situation.
