‘Rance 01 -Quest for Hikari-‘ and ‘Rance 02 -The Rebellious Maidens-‘ Coming West to PC

MangaGamer announced their plans to publish the Alicesoft developed RPG visual novel, Rance 01 -Quest for Hikari- and Rance 02 -The Rebellious Maidens-, on PC in the west.

Rance 01 -Quest for Hikari- is the journey that started it all. This is a remake of the very first Rance adventure for fans to understand just how scummy this adventurer can be. The updated version has new graphics and audio and a brand new battle system that will make it easier for modern gamers to get the hang of.

The story follows Rance, who ventures out to find women to be romantic with. On his quest, he meets Hikari, a daughter of a noble family in the Kingdom of Leazaas who has come up missing from her home and Rance decides that it’s up to him to find her. This journey doesn’t come without its hardships as many monsters will try and block his way.

Rance 02 -The Rebellious Maidens- continues the adventure as the town of Custom is in trouble, so no other than Rance comes to the rescue. The game plays out like a turn-based dungeon crawler where Rance must defeat four rebel witches who have endangered the town. Throughout the game, Rance will crack the case and hopefully meet some girls along the way.
