Top Hat Studios announced that the Epic Works slice-of-life visual novel Rainbow Dreams will launch on PC-via Steam in Q1 2019.
Rainbow Dreams follows Luka Sanguis who finds himself married to a Goddess to which his life takes off on an adventure of discovery about the world around him. The Goddess, Myra Orbis, is the creator of the universe of Gaea who has left her position to enter the human world. She ends up meeting Luka and claiming to be married to him. However, it’s not happy ever after for the two as Daemons begin invading the world at night and day to day life because of a struggle.
Rainbow Dreams features a 3D camera features, 8 hours of gameplay, dynamic animations, and a choice system that players will encounter throughout the story. The developer also promises a deep story and ambient soundtrack.
The first game by Epic Works, Episicava – Vol. 1 released in 2018 to mixed reviews from players.

Author’s take: This indie visual novels are always interesting to see and I’m digging the CG illustrations, but it mostly comes down to the story so we’ll see how this one does.
