Ragnarok: The Lost Memories Launches on Steam to Mixed Reviews
Gravity Interactive has published Ragnarok: The Lost Memories on PC via Steam, but fans have been quick to point out some of the game’s lacking features.
Release on April 12, Ragnarok: The Lost Memories is being described as a mobile game on PC based on the game’s gacha elements. This is accurate since the game was first released on mobile devices. The Steam release is largely a port of the mobile experience with all the auto systems that you’d expect.
Currently, the Steam page holds a “Mixed” review rating.
However, fans are upset that the game’s gacha elements are digging a little too deep into their pockets. Some fans are sharing that they’ve already put too much money into the game and feel like they are just being pushed along a pre-defined path through the campaign. This is due to the “Auto Bot Idle System” where players can progress without doing much. Others seem to enjoy the story elements alone and share that it’s worth playing through for that. Still, it seems money is required to make getting through the story a little easier.
Ragnarok: The Lost Memories is an RPG card-battler set in the Ragnarok universe. The game features more than 20 hero and monster cards that each have their own skills. Players can also purchase and upgrade equipment for the characters to fit them for PvP, but the PvP modes are largely for players who pay.
Ragnarok: The Lost Memories is available now as a free-to-play game on Steam and mobile devices.
