Adorable 2D Action Platformer ‘Rabi-Ribi’ Gets Switch Release Date

Circle Entertainment announced that the CreSpirit developed 2D exploration action-platformer Rabi-Ribi will launch on the Nintendo Switch eShop on October 17.

Previously released on PS4, PS Vita, and PC, Rabi-Ribe puts players in control of Erina, a rabbit who has been turned into a human and wakes up in a strange world. Throughout her adventure, she will face many enemies, but will also make new friends as she searches for a way to become normal again.

The gameplay is a blend of action platforming with Metroidvania style exploration. Players will be able to explore the world and use skills to get past obstacles while fighting various enemies. The game has 4 difficulty setting, over 60 upgradeable items, and a load of bosses waiting to take Erina out.

Throughout the game, Erina’s abilities can be upgraded along with her weapon. While grunt enemies might not be a huge problem, the bosses in the game are each unique and have their own personality.

The publisher also released a new trailer showing the game running on Switch hardware. This also gives those who haven’t seen the game a preview of the action gameplay and some of the characters.
