Queen of the Otaku: There Can Only Be One is a short visual novel about a club that has been divided. The story follows Hajime Namikawa, a university student who is a member of the manga club, which means he’s pretty nerdy. However, there are other members of the group, including Ai Himeki, a beautiful girl that everyone seems to like.
She makes the club a nice place to be a part of, but then a first-year student named Mahiro Hanasaki joins and ruins everything. Mahiro is a very cool girl that doesn’t seem interested in the club but joins anyway, and that creates the divide.
As you could have guessed, the Steam version is the all-ages story, while Johren hosts the free adult patch along with the option to buy the full game. The game’s heroines feature voice acting, but I wouldn’t expect the story to be as much of a highlight here. Anyway, I’m sure it’s funny.
We’ll keep you updated on future releases from this developer.
