Visual Novel ‘Qualia: The Path of Promise’ Gets Early February Release Date (It Took 2 Years, But It’s Finally Here!)

Sekai Project announced they’ll release the Puresis-developed romance visual novel QUALIA: The Path of Promise on PC via Steam and Denpasoft on February 3, 2023.

The game was announced to be localized in 2021. Regardless, it’s here now, and that’s all that matters. The steam release will likely feature all-ages content, with a Denpasoft version available with the goods.

QUALIA ~The Path of Promise~ is the first game from the developer to come west and features a story revolving around Machina, the first android to pass the Turing Test. She’s gained much popularity after her creations for her human-like qualities but still finds ways that she can grow.

As one would expect, she’s dressed as a maid, which is also her job. Dr. Hiro Koshino ends up taking Machina home to work as his mad, and she becomes better at human interaction based on their time spent together. This is around the moment when he begins to have feelings for her; I’m sure many of you saw that coming.

The story is rather romantic, though, as they two overcome fate and find happiness. The game does feature adult scenes for those wondering. However, the game seems to take a more romantic and vanilla approach to the subject, as the idea of dating a robot is probably frowned upon at this time.
