Puzzle Visual Novel ‘Thief’s Roulette’ Gets Release Window and Free Demo

Top Hat Studio has launched the Steam page for the Hiromu656-developed puzzle adventure Thief’s Roulette, coming to PC in November 2020.

Thief’s Roulette has players awaken in an unfamiliar place where they and 14 others have been kidnapped. A woman named Lady Luck informs them they must compete for their lives in a series of challenges. The characters are then split into three teams, and in order to win, you must sentence another group to death.

Lady Luck has deemed these 15 individuals to be Thieves and requires them to complete all 7 of her challenges. Yes, some of the characters will die during these games, but the survivors will get to leave in the end.

Thief’s Roulette features a story full of twists as players uncover more about the mysterious game and its host. There are also dynamic puzzles to solve, which need to be completed if you hope to live. The game is played in the first person allowing players to explore Escape Rooms and interact with characters and the environment.

The publisher announced that a free demo is also available via the Steam page for players to test out the game early. This demo will give you a chance to meet some of the characters as well as provide feedback towards the game’s development if you choose to do so.

Thief’s Roulette is in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
