Puzzle Game ‘Humanity’ Achieves Over 1 Million Players

Enhance has announced that their puzzle game Humanity has achieved over one million players worldwide across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Those simply curious about the game can try out its free demo on Steam, while PlayStation Plus subscribers of the Extra tier can play the full title at no extra cost.

Humanity is a unique puzzle experience where players control a Shiba Inu guiding massive crowds of humans to specific goals. The title is by ” visual designer Yugo Nakamura and famed game creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi (Rez Infinite, Tetris Effect: Connected).” There is a story mode comprised of 90 stages and even action elements with boss battles.

Further, there’s an in-depth and intuitive level creator where players worldwide can make and play each other’s creations, whether they be focused on actions, puzzles, or whatever else. An optional VR mode is also available for those who have the hardware for it.

The title launched its 1.07 content update last month, implementing the following:

“… adds the Machines, a late-game action-puzzle element from the last chapter of HUMANITY’s STORY MODE, to its robust Stage Creator. Turrets, Drones, Lasers and more can now be integrated into a user’s stage designs and uploaded/shared for the community to play.”
