GungHo Online Entertainment has announced Puzzle & Dragons 0. Launching worldwide in May 2025, the game will be available as a free-to-play title on the App Store and Google Play, alongside optional in-app purchases.

Following over 90 million downloads since the franchise’s inception, Puzzle & Dragons 0 will feature enhanced controls, a deeper creature-building system, and fully switchable screen orientation, allowing players to toggle between vertical and horizontal layouts.
As in past titles, players clear dungeons by matching colored Orbs in classic match-three fashion. Successful combos trigger attacks from the player’s team of creatures, adding strategic layers to the traditional puzzle format. The game expands on this with several new mechanics designed to deepen the experience without sacrificing accessibility.
Key additions include the Root Tree, where players can use dungeon-earned Crystals to craft and evolve new Monsters. Mana collected during runs can also be used to power up these allies.
Launch Support
Puzzle & Dragons 0 will launch in 11 languages and be available in over 150 countries. It will also feature options for team composition, screen layout, and gameplay approach. Pre-registrations are now open.
