Polygon Treehouse announced they will release their puzzle adventure Roki on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on October 28, 2021.
The game was initially released in 2020 and received many awards nominations for its game design, characters, and narrative.
Roki has players assume the role of Tove, who is on a mission to save her family. Unfortunately, times are tough for them, and one night their entire world is flipped upside down with her brother is kidnapped by a mysterious beast. In an attempt to chase it down, Tove finds herself in a magical land of giants, dragons, and gods. It’s here that she must lend assistance to strange creatures to get closer to finding her brother and a way home.
Aside from the adventure elements, the game does feature movements of emotional factors. For example, Tove’s family is all she cares about, but she seems to have forgotten some pieces of the puzzle that held them together. It’s here that we get to learn more about these feelings and understand the situation further.
Roki is available only on PC-via Steam at this time. However, we’ll let you know about any other platform releases that may come in the future.
