Puzzle Adventure ‘Call of the Sea’ Announced for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC in New Trailer

Raw Fury revealed that they will publish the Out of the Blue-developed puzzle-adventure Call of the Sea, in developer more Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC for a late 2020 release.

Call of the Sea takes place in the 1930s and follows a woman’s desperate search for her missing husband, which leads her to the South Pacific. She finds herself an island where remnants of a lost civilization are found. Players will need to explore this uncharted area and unlock puzzles and secrets in hopes of revealing the fate of the woman’s husband. Evidently, his past expeditions might have led him to this very spot.

Call of the Sea features explorable environments developed in Unreal Engine 4. Players are able to investigate clues left by the previous inhabitant and take on puzzles to progress the narrative. The game is also fully voiced by Cissy Jones, known for Firewatch, Life Is Strange, and The Walking Dead.

The new trailer gives players a look at the environments as well as some of the puzzles that players will encounter. It also gives players a preview of Cissy Jones’ voiceover work.
