Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Adds Four New Characters in Final Free Post-Launch Update

Sega has released the third and final post-launch free DLC for Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.

This new update includes four playable characters:

• Harpy – a kind-hearted winged girl who loves to sing but is tragically off-pitch, can buff your party’s MP Recovery in Skill Battle mode.
• Legamünt – a member of the holy knighthood with unmatched abilities, holds the power to increase your party’s Attack while reducing the opponent’s Defense by a percentage.
• Ragnus – a justice-focused hero from another realm who mysteriously took on a child’s form, can remove debuffs inflicted on friends, among other skills.
• Rozatte – a teacher-like figure who mentors those apprenticing in magic, is able to fortify your team and remove several rows of Tetriminos from the board.

Additionally, there a new Spectator Mode available where a match can be viewed by up to four online viewers. There are four new songs available along with 20 new avatars and a higher difficulty level called Super Spicy Mode accessible during Boss Raid Mode.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 blends Puyo Puyo and Tetris, where players can switch between the game modes for an addictive experience. This sequel will add new modes for offline and online play. In Skill Battle mode, players can equip cards and utilize characters for unique abilities to turn the battles’ tide.
