Action RPG ‘Punishing: Gray Raven’ to Improve Localization Before Western Release

Kuro Games provided a Punishing: Gray Raven development update after the recent closed beta test hosted for western players.

The feedback the company received was that the localization needed to improve. It seems the game lacked proper grammar instances and had typos in some names. Further, there was a word-wrapping error in the text boxes. These are common problems during early access, but it’s good the company knows now that western fans don’t really enjoy machine-translated or broken localization titles.

The game is planning to open pre-registration soon and reveal the date sometime next week for Android users. However, an additional closed beta was not teased.

Punishing: Gray Raven follows a biomechanical virus known as The Punishing has ravaged the planet, taking control of synthetic life while destroying the organic. Violent, corrupted machines now rule the world, and the remnants of humanity have fled this apocalypse, evacuating to the space colony E-02 ‘Babylonia.’ Now a mission is underway to reclaim mankind’s lost home. The elite Gray Raven, a special forces team, leads the vanguard.

Players take command of the Grave Raven unit and assemble their team to fight back against the threat. Further, players can fight mobs of enemies and bosses as they progress through the levels.

Punishing: Gray Raven is coming to iOS and Android devices.
