Supernatural Adventure Visual Novel ‘Punch Line’ Gets Surprise Release Date on PC

PQube revealed that the Mages developed supernatural adventure visual novel Punch Line will launch on PC-via Steam on May 23.

Punch Line tells the story of Yūta Iridats, a normal high school kid who, like most high school kids, faints when he sees panties. After being involved in a hijacking, he encounters crime fighter Strange Juice and his soul leaves his body forcing him to travel the world as a ghostly form. Furthermore, if by chance he sees panties in this state…an asteroid will destroy Earth.

The PC version of the game seems to be a straight port of the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita version with no additional features. The game allows players to travel around a hotel as they play pranks on the tenants in order to gain the soul power to help Yūta gain access to his body that has been taken away from him. This will require players to set up traps that cause the girls to be scared, but some traps don’t always pan out which leads to the world blowing up. However, it’s possible to reverse time and try again so making mistakes isn’t so bad.
