Psychological Horror Game ‘The Medium’ Gets New Trailer Introducing Protagonist and Dual-Reality

Bloober Team released a new gameplay trailer for their recently announced venture into the horror genre will be delivered as The Medium, in development for Xbox Series X and PC.

The gameplay showed how players will have access to two different realities that will contain similar, but very different outcomes depending on which dimension they are in. This Dual-Reality system plays a substantial role in the game’s mechanics and will be the primary way players will navigate the narrative. There is no loading screens between the world and players will have access to them at any point during the story.

During gameplay, players will assume the role of Marianne, a medium who is hounded by visions living and interacting across two worlds, the real and the spirit realm. Everything needs to be questioned during gameplay. Players need to view events from two different angles, both of which contain scary themes.

The game will be composed by Akira Yamaoka, who is known for the Silent Hill series. This is in hopes to create an atmosphere for both of the words within the game.

Currently, it seems like The Medium will be exclusive to Xbox Series X and PC, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated on its release.
