Publisher SOEDESCO has announced that their psychological horror story-driven title, Saint Kotar, will be launching on PC via the Epic Games Store, GOG, and Steam this October. A new trailer was also released, granting vague insight into the game’s ambiance and premise.
The trailer briefly showcases a grim, dark world where one of the main character’s sense of sanity drops to dangerous levels. Religious references and the like are depicted as well. Throughout this experience, players take control of godly men Benedek and Nikolay, searching for a mission woman. Several story-defining choices must be made that ultimately lead to multiple endings and branching story paths.
The town in which this missing woman is said to be in though has its fair share of sinister elements such as murders, witchcraft, and devil worship.
To further enhance the immersive elements of this title, the entirety of the game contains fully-voiced narration, and the graphics are hand-painted, providing a more personable touch to these dreary environments. Players will switch between Benedek and Nikolay, who impact themselves and the world with their individualized actions.
