PlayStation is hosting a significant sale on its digital storefront. Dubbed ‘Big in Japan,’ this sale hosts considerable discounts for numerous Japanese-developed titles. If you’ve been waiting on enormous sales for this particular market, this is as massive as it’s going to get.
The latest mainline entry in the Dragon Quest series, Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, is currently only $25.99. As its name states, this is the definitive version to play the title. It houses the additional content added to the Nintendo Switch version along with more stabilized performance. This is easily one of the strongest JRPGs of the past decade, and if you haven’t yet played it, this is the ideal time to do so, especially with the next mainline entry confirmed to be in development.
All 4 entries in the Trails of Cold Steel saga for Legend of Heroes are discounted. The first 2 entries are excellent gateways into the Trails franchise. They have added enhancements to make the experiences less time-consuming and more immersive such as more voiced lines in English and a turbo mode functionality to speed up battles and field movement.
The sequel to the cult classic The World Ends With You, NEO: The World Ends With You, is now $41.99. For those who have played the initial entry, this sequel is a must-play. It builds upon the original elements and introduces a new mainline cast that all merge to create one of the best JRPGs of our current generation. Check out our review if you haven’t, where we awarded it one of our very few 10s.
