Epic Games and developer Loong Entertainment announced Project:SU coming to mobile devices later this year.
Developed using Unreal Engine 4, Project:SU strives to create a highly graphical experience for the player by mirroring what players expect from AAA PC titles. Project:SU is an open world that emphasizes on freedom and player movement.
Adapted from a best-selling novel, Project:SU is a story about an endless war between humans, half-bloods, and Dragons. The story blends, western, Chinese, and Japanese cultures into a fantasy world where magic exists. During the game, players will encounter NPC that have different identities and intelligence levels. Players will be able to provoke or build an emotional connection with them as well through interactions. Players will not be limited to a single professional identity as well so they can explore different skills like cooking and sports.
The developer released a new cinematic trailer during GDC 2019. While the trailer doesn’t show gameplay, players can get a look at the design direction that the developers are going for. Project:SU was available to play during GDC 2019 where players could get their first hands-on with the game.
