Project Nimbus: Complete Edition Announced for Western Release on Switch With New Content
GameTomo announced that Project Nimbus: Complete Edition is coming west for Nintendo Switch on May 16.
Project Nimbus: Complete Edition is the latest version of the mech action title that originally released on PC-via Steam before launching on PlayStation 4. Project Nimbus: Complete Edition brings all the action to the Switch with added content alongside the game’s original full story. Additionally, the Switch version of the game will contain new modes that haven’t been released in the west.
“We’re so excited to finally bring this remastered edition of Project Nimbus to our fans in the west. We’re proud to have such a supportive community and we can’t wait to reward their patience,” says Reece Scott, CEO of GameTomo.
The game’s two new modes are an improved Survival mode and Warfront, an objective-based mission type that requires the player to survive against infinite odds in a never-ending assault. The Switch version will also support the Pro Controller during gameplay.
Project Nimbus: Complete Edition puts players in the cockpit of a mech for 26 missions over a narrative driven story. Players will follow three different factions over a war-torn planet, the US-lead CFN, the Russia-led UCN, and the terrorist group Children of Fallen Nations, as they learn more about the reasons that these characters fight. The game features boss battles and tons of enemies to blow up along the way.
The publisher has also released a new trailer showing the game running on Nintendo Switch.
