Project MIKHAIL: A Muv-Luv War Story Launches in Early Access in the West

Anchor has launched the mech action game Project MIKHAIL: A Muv-Luv War Story in Steam Early Access in the west.

The game’s Early Access timing features a launch discount off its $19.99 price. Project MIKHAIL: A Muv-Luv War Story is a mecha action game with three different modes, Story, PvP, and Frontier mode.

During the story, players will meet Shirogane Takeru, from Muv-Luv Alternative, and make choices on the battlefield and in dialogue. In addition, the story will feature branching paths depending on the player’s actions and construct their very own mecha fighter.

PvP mode has players joining two teams of 4 TSF pilots as they fight it out. Early Access is in beta, with elements like additional features, voice chat, and balance to be developed over time.

Frontier mode is similar to an only experience where players hang out in a world fighting off the BETA invasion. However, every player will be part of the resistance and have a personal mecha to join the fights.

Currently, the Early Access period has no end date. The developer plans to stay in the program until the game meets the standards of players and feedback is addressed. The story is mostly complete and can be finished, but the team is using this time to focus on PvP and Frontier Mode.
