Sekai Games announced that the Forgivsion develope virtual reality adventure game Project LUX will release on PlayStation 4 in June 2019, that’s right this month, but no firm release date.
Launching exclusively to the PS4’s PlayStation Store. Project LUX tells the story of a murder mystery. The game takes place over the course of a court trial that is set in a futuristic world where most human have cyber brains. Sounds like something I’d like to be involved with.
Anyway, the defendant on trial is an agent who coordinates with artists to create the date for these cyber brains that are used to interact with people’s emotions. And the victim? A girl artist named Lux. The jury is left to investigate what really happened by reliving the memory date of the defendant.
The game is played in VR and contains multiple endings based on the player’s choices during dialog and how they choose to investigate the crime scenes.
While the game will launch exclusively on the PlayStation Store, publisher Limited Run Games did host a physical run of the game on their store. However, more physical copies will not be produced, at least not by them.
