The House in Fata Morgana Developer Announces New Game, Project Code Name “M” for PC, PS4 & Switch; Teaser Trailer & Opening Song Shared
Developer Novect, known for the highly acclaimed visual novel, The House in Fata Morgana, has announced their new upcoming project, known as Project Code Name “M.” Not much information on this new game has been shared other than its teaser trailer briefly explaining its premise.
Throughout this title, players investigate a serial murder case from two perspectives, the killer and detectives who work in the body disposal business. This game takes place in modern Japan, in downtown Tokyo, with specific locations like Asakusa and Yoshiwara being depicted. Players themselves try to devise and enact the perfect crime, and they interview victimized parties afterward through the primary gimmick of switching perspectives.
Project Code Name “M” is a single-player-only title planned to release for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. However, no release date or window has been provided yet.

Further, the new project’s opening song, “The Sheep in the Slaughterhouse,” by Yusuke Tsutsumi and tetem, is available to listen to via several music services such as Apple Music, Spotify, Youtube Music, and more.
