Project Athia Renamed to Forspoken in New Gameplay Trailer

Square Enix and Luminous Productions launched a new trailer for Project Athia, now named Forspoken, in development for PlayStation 5 and PC for a 2022 release.

During gameplay, players will assume the role of Frey Holland, a seemingly ordinary woman who gets thrust into a fantasy world. She must now harness her magical abilities to survive in the fantastical yet dangerous land of Athia.

It seems like this girl will have a lot to come to terms with this adventure, but looking at the trailer we can see that she is going to get by. The gameplay shown mirrors the fast action we’ve seen in games like Final Fantasy XV, but with a more streamlined action system. Players will have access to several abilities and skills, but we don’t know much about the RPG features within the game just yet.
