Professor Oak Shows His Skills in New Pokémon Masters Update

DeNA has launched a new update for their mobile adventure game, Pokémon Masters, available now on Android and iOS.

The update adds Professor Oak as a Pokémon Trainer Professor Oak will be accompanied by his mythical partner Pokémon Mew and will be distributed to all players who log into the game and complete the tutorial by March 15.

After receiving Professor Oak and Mew, players who have completed Chapter 2 of the main story can upgrade the sync pair after completing “Professor Oak & Mew Special Missions.” These missions are available now through March 15 and tell the story about how they came to become a duo.

Additionally, the Steel-type sync pair of Steven & Metagross has been added to the game. Players can learn more about Steven, the champion of the Hoenn region, in the in-game story event titled “The Strongest There Is,” available to play now until March 15.

Pokémon Masters features a Cooperative Mode that has two players join together from around the world to battle against AI opponents. Players will need to work together to unleash unity attacks, which is a special coordinated attack from all three sync pairs.
