Prison Princess Gets New Trailer Showing Escape Room Gameplay Ahead of Switch Launch

Qureate released a new trailer for the escape room adventure Prison Princess, coming to Nintendo Switch-via the eShop on January 30.

The trailer shows gameplay dialog between the two princesses and the player. This is also a nice preview for the game’s CG scenes and its puzzle mechanics. While the dialog test is still Japanese, the game can be played in English, and Traditional and Simplified Chinese. The audio for the characters is only Japanese.

In Prison Princess, players take on the role of a hero set to lead two captured princesses to freedom. However, to do this they’ll need to get out of their prison cell. As the hero, players will need help the girls solve puzzles and make decisions in dialogue that will decide the fates of the girls and their own.

During gameplay, players will be able to investigate and interact with puzzles. However, in the context of the story, the hero currently has no physical body so you’ll need to ask the princesses to solve the puzzles for him. The game will put the princesses in lewd situations to distract you, but you must stay focused on the task at hand in order to escape.
