4-Player Party RPG ‘Prinny Party: Going Overboard!’ Launches November 11, Free Demo Available Now

NIS America has announced that four-player party RPG Prinny Party: Going Overboard! will launch for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam on November 11. A free demo is available now across all four platforms.

The demo has Standard Mode which features a shortened version of the main experience and lets players choose between Prinny, Warrior, Archer, and Ninja. The Protago-Knights are absent from this version, but players can battle an adjusted version of Laharl and compete over who gets to return his body.

Then, Super-Spicy Mode includes a challenge specific to the demo. Players are limited to Prinny and a small selection of tools while trying to clear the available content. The demo also limits building options, Boardroom Assembly choices, and other features.

The full game supports up to four players and requires defeating the Supreme Overboard and his Protago-Knights. Players move around a board, gain experience, acquire equipment, complete quests, and construct facilities while preparing for boss encounters.

Only the player who carries the boss back to the spawn point receives credit for the victory, allowing other players to interfere and attempt to claim the reward themselves. If everyone dies at the same time, the entire group loses.

Players can pick up and throw friends and enemies around the board. Landing on designated spaces also lets players build and upgrade facilities such as hospitals and armories. Other players can use those facilities once they’re built.

The Assembly provides additional options through bills that can alter a match. Effects include tripling damage, granting another move, and constructing cannons capable of attacking powerful demons.

Prinny Party: Going Overboard! also supports GameShare, allowing owners to play with friends who do not have their own copy of the game.
