Supernatural Visual Novel ‘The Princess, the Stray Cat, and Matters of the Heart’ Coming Soon to Steam

Harukaze has launched the official website for their supernatural visual novel The Princess, the Stray Cat, and Matters of the Heart, with a release date of “Coming Soon”.

The Princess, the Stray Cat, and Matters of the Heart tells the story of Handa Nora, a boy who lives with his mother and adopted sister, Shachi. After his mother’s passing, Shachi and Nora live a pretty happy life together, which includes going to school, hanging out with friends, and maybe some other stuff that two siblings shouldn’t do, but hey they’re adopted.

Nora ends up meeting a girl named Patricia on his way to school. She just so happened to be a Princess of the Underworld and come to the world on Nora’s mother’s command to destroy everything. The story unravels from that point as Patricia ends up falling for Nora and asking him the meaning of life.

However, visual novels fans were quick to point out that this game will be machine translated, which a huge disappointment to fans. Japanese text requires translation as well as some editing to capture all the nuances and expressions for the western readers. Furthermore, this type of translation usually results in typos.
