Praise or Scold, It’s the Player’s Choice Shown in New ‘The Princess Guide’ Trailer

NIS America released a new trailer for their princess training action RPG The Princess Guide, coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on March 26.

The trailers detail a key mechanic in that game that allows the player to either praise or scold the princesses as they work their way to become a royal standard. It’s up to the player to direct them and choose when to use each option in hopes that you see results.

In The Princess Guide, players assume the role of the greatest master in the field of combat and knowledge. Their job is to train the four princesses, Liliartie, Veronica, Monomaria, and Apana to their highest potential. Players will also take control as they fight their way through dungeons and gain experience.

Author’s take: As a fan of the criminal girls series, I’m pretty excited to see what this game has to off story and mechanics wise. The idea of scolded sounds so mean, but you gotta do what you gotta to do to whip these girls into shape so they can complete their quest and become proper princesses. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this game as we get closer to the release date.
