Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake Team Ressures Fans That Development is Still Progressing

The development team for the upcoming Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake has released a statement on their official Twitter account reassuring fans that progress for the title is still underway and that further progress updates will be shared. I’m honestly glad that, despite how there have been no showings of progress, that the development team clearly seems to be taking this project seriously. Sands of Time is a classic, and its Remake deserves as much love, and quality poured into it as possible.

This extensive delay also shows that the overwhelmingly negative reception to the Remake’s reveal was taken to heart. We even shared our own ‘hot’ take on the Remake’s appearance back when it was first unveiled.

The title’s delay occurred back during February of this year. This update merely stated that due to fan reception and outcry, they are choosing to give this title more development time. They hope to deliver a quality title that will be positively receptive to fans and prospective fans. Once again, there is no confirmed release date for the title as of now, which is for the best.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake is releasing for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC at some point.
