Romance Visual Novel ‘Primal Hearts’ and ‘Primal Hearts 2’ Launches on PC in the West

Shiravune announced that the Marmalade-developed romance visual novel Primal Hearts and its sequel Primal Hearts 2 is available now on PC-via Johren in the west.

This is a surprise announcement from the company. Still, Primal Hearts tells the story of Kazuma Tatewaki, who has just transferred to Ainoshima Academy in the middle of the spring term. However, the moment he walked onto the school grounds, he was approached by two girls who want him to join their student councils.

This academy has two student councils, the traditional Gekka-kai and the avant-garde Tendou-kai, always competing. However, no matter what they do, their efforts render them in a tie. So it’s up to Kazuma to break the tie and assist the student council he likes the most.

Primal Hearts 2 continues the shenanigans but takes place 6 years later with a new set of heroines. Daichi has just transferred to the school, and, well, the student councils strike again. However, it just so happens that Daichi is extremely unlucky.

Both games contain 18+ content and feature multiple heroines and routes for players to find themselves through choices made. Currently, Johren is the only website the English release is available. A Steam release has not been revealed at this time.
