You Can Pre-Order the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge in a Few Days For a Surprisingly Decent Price; December 2021 Release

Memes becoming a reality is always an amusing spectacle, and that is no different here. Microsoft has announced that the fabled Xbox Series X mini fridge will be available to pre-order in a few days at specified retailers across the globe. To be clear, this isn’t actually a console and is simply a mini-fridge boasting a design based on the Xbox Series X.

Developed in partnership with Ukonic!, this mini fridge provides the expected functions one would expect, though there are a few unconventional and notable inclusions. These include a USB port and DC power adapter.

Regarding pricing and availability, US customers will be able to pre-order the mini fridge from Target for $99.99. United Kingdom residents can pre-order the device from GAME £89.99 and, “fans in France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, and Poland can grab their own at Game Stop EU (€99.00), Micromania (€99.00) or Toynk (via Amazon).”

Canadians will be able to purchase the mini fridge from the Xbox Gear Shop though details on pricing and the like have yet to be provided.

Pre-orders will open on October 19, 2021, while shipments to are scheduled to be fulfilled during December 2021. Increased regional availability is planned for 2022 as well.

You can read more details on this unexpected product via Xbox’s official website.

While $99.99 is not exactly a cheap investment, I think many would expect this item to be hundreds of dollars more considering the Xbox branding. Granted, I don’t see myself getting this for any reason, but it’s a cool novelty for those who feel compelled.
