PQube Teases New IP and Discounts Kotodama to a Dollar on Switch

PQube is celebrating the anniversary of their Art co-developed mystery visual match-three adventure Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa by discounting the game by 95% on the Nintendo eShop for the next two weeks. The discount will be for all regions, making the game equivalent to $1. However, at the time of writing this, the eShop store page in NA has not been updated with the discounted price.

Additionally, the team has announced that they will be revealing a new IP that they’ve been working on soon. However, there’s no other information on that reveal.

Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa is a mystery visual novel where nothing is as it seems. At the beginning of the game, Mon-chan, a demon fox, makes a pact with the protagonist to allow the player to wield the power of Kotodama, which essentially means that the player can coerce the truth from anyone who tries to lie to you. Throughout the game, players will use Kotodam to investigate the strange happenings of Fujisawa Academy.

Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa is available now on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam

In case you missed it, you can check out our review of the game, where we enjoyed the writing, but the story felt all too generic. Still, the match-three elements are a lewd blast.
