The Pokémon Company International revealed new details about their upcoming RPG adventure Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, coming to Nintendo Switch on November 15.
When it comes to the Galarian region, some Pokémon have adapted to their environment and no longer act like the Pokémon who look like them from other regions. Pokémon revealed to sport a new Galar form are:
Category: Poison Gas Pokémon
Weight: 35.3 lbs.
Galarian Weezing consumes polluted air and uses it for substance as he spits out purified air. The poison air within him sometimes leaks out and he’ll use it to immobilize opponents.
Category: Tiny Raccoon Pokémon
Weight: 38.6 lbs.
Galarian Zigzagoon is constantly on the move and can be found everywhere. They are considered to be the oldest branch of the species and will often go out looking for a fight against people and other Pokémon. However, humans seem to think he’s just playing around.
Category: Rushing Pokémon
Weight: 71.7 lbs.
Galarian Linoone is super fast reaching over 60 miles per hour to deliver hard tackles and headbutts. Their boldness and tendency to get into reckless fights makes them popular with the disaffected youth of the Galar region.
Additionally, new Galarian for Evolutions were revealed:
Category: Blocking Pokémon
Weight: 101.4 lbs.
As well as Form-Changing Pokémon:
Category: Two-Sided Pokémon
Weight: 6.6 lbs.
Ability: Hunger Switch
Lastly, new trainers were revealed, Marnie, a rival who travels with a Morpeko and keeps calm in heated battles, and Bede, a rival who received an endorsement from Rose and has other goals other than the becoming champion. Also, Team Yell was revealed, who are a group of troublemakers that seem to appear everywhere and attempt to stop the trainers from progressing. Their only goal is for Marnie to become Champion and they’ll do anything they can to see that happen.
