Pokémon Sword and Shield Reveals Galarian Ponyta Who is Just Too Damn Cute

The Pokémon Company International launched a new trailer for their upcoming RPG adventure Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, coming to Nintendo Switch on November 15.

This trailer introduces the Galar Region form of Ponyta, who made a quick appearance in the Livestream of the forest in the Galar region.

Galarian Ponyta can be found in certain areas of the Galar region where it is they were exposed to the overflowing life energy of the forest over many generations. Over time, this has caused the appearance to become unique for this region. Galarian Ponyta can absorb the life energy of the surrounding atmosphere and store it in its mane, which becomes more colorful and emits a glow. Galarian Ponyta’s ability, Pastel Veil, prevents the Pokémon and its allies from becoming poisoned. It even cures the poisoned status condition of its allies when entering the battlefield.

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield take place in a new region known as the Galar region, which is filled with the countryside, city, and snow-covered environments. Players will also be able to choose from new starter Pokémon Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble as they work towards becoming a Pokemon Champion.
